Together these two parts of Medicare work much like an 80/20 plan where you can visit any doctor hospital or medical provider nationwide that accepts Medicare, and Medicare will cover roughly 80% of the bill, and you will be responsible for the remaining 20% as a coinsurance. There are a couple of options for what you can do to cover that 20% coinsurance and we’ll get into that shortly.
